International Day of Radiology Celebration
“Waves of Clarity: Illuminating the Unseen”
The Shantha Group of Institutions (SGI) proudly celebrated the International Day of Radiology, a globally recognized occasion that highlights the pivotal role of radiological sciences in modern healthcare. This observance serves as a meaningful connection between historic scientific discoveries and the ever-evolving advancements in diagnostic imaging.
While the International Day of Radiology is traditionally observed worldwide on November 8—commemorating the groundbreaking discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in 1895—SGI marked the occasion with its own distinctive celebration on November 28, 2025. The event reflected the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the promotion of radiological awareness among students and faculty alike.

Our Department of Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology hosted an insightful session on “Anaesthesia Machine & Ventilators and Its Modes.”
