Job Description:
The Department of Neuroscience at Shantha Group of Institutions is seeking highly motivated and accomplished faculty members for the position of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate will contribute to the department’s educational, research, and service missions, advancing our understanding of the brain and nervous system through innovative teaching, groundbreaking research, and mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update course materials, lectures, and assignments.
- Supervise and mentor students in their research and academic progress.
- Secure external funding for research projects through grants and collaborations.
- Contribute to the development of interdisciplinary programs and collaborations.
- Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
- Attend and contribute to academic and professional conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Qualifications:
Professor:
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field.
- Extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic service.
- Proven success in securing significant research funding.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field.
- Strong track record in securing research funding.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring students and junior faculty
Assistant Professor:
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching and research excellence.
